Position Purpose

The Business Development Representative II (BDR II) for Connectivity is responsible for driving profitable growth within the MNJ Connectivity product team through strategic business planning, customer lifecycle management, and connectivity solution development. By leveraging supplier partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and maximizing account penetration, this role delivers revenue growth, improves profitability, and enhances long-term customer success.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Create product requirements, limitations, and workflows for the engineering, operations, and PMO teams to bring new products to market.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive connectivity revenue growth and profitability within the MNJ Connectivity product team.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Manage the full customer lifecycle, including acquisition, adoption, optimization, retention, renewal, and expansion of connectivity solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to position connectivity solutions that align with customer business objectives and technology strategies.
  • Leverage supplier and carrier partnerships to develop competitive solutions, enhance customer value, and differentiate offerings in the market.
  • Analyze customer environments and business requirements to identify opportunities for increased solution adoption and account growth.
  • Drive customer engagement strategies that improve retention, customer satisfaction, and long-term revenue performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, carriers, internal stakeholders, and customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and inform business strategy.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, including revenue growth, profitability, pipeline development, customer retention, and solution penetration.
  • Support sales enablement initiatives through training, business reviews, solution education, and partner engagement activities.
  • Ensure alignment between customer needs, supplier capabilities, and organizational growth objectives.
  • Represent the business at trade shows and conferences.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in business development, telecommunications, connectivity, carrier services, networking, or technology sales.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Strong understanding of connectivity solutions, including internet, WAN, SD-WAN, mobility, voice, cloud connectivity, and managed services.
  • Proven ability to develop growth strategies and achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Experience in managing customer relationships and driving lifecycle growth initiatives.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across sales, supplier, and leadership teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and customer engagement.
  • Must exhibit critical thinking and a growth mindset.
  • Must exhibit emotional intelligence and empathy skills.
  • Alignment with MNJ’s vision, mission, and values.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with vendors, customers, and employees.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000/year.  Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
