Established in 2002 with a vision to make an extraordinary different in the lives of our stakeholders.  We are looking for a Senior Cloud Consultant for our Product Management Team.  

Position Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide cloud expertise based upon industry trends, new and advancing technology solutions, and best practices with a focus on customer experience.  Ensure profitability and continued growth of the cloud product tower by working with the engineering, product, and sales teams.  A Sr. Cloud Consultant works directly with sales to review cloud product approach, suggests enhancements, and oversees all pre-sales documents to ensure consistent experience for customers. Additionally, the Sr. Cloud Consultant will see the project through completion to ensure that the sold solution is functioning properly.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Bridge the gap between product knowledge and the sales team by acting as a partner to convert customers by understanding the client’s business objective, challenges, scope, business outcome through cloud enablement.
  • Understand client requirements and design solutions with recommended paths for cloud platform selection, implementation, and migration to ensure the product meets the needs of the target customer.
  • Develop cloud roadmaps and strategies for clients, conduct comprehensive cloud assessments, distribute cloud architecture design and create implementation plan and roadmap.
  • Conduct cost optimization analyses, identify opportunities to maximize return on cloud investments.
  • Provide strategic and technical solution sales support including customer meetings requiring cloud expertise.
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure the company strategy and vision are aligned.
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer community and the sales team.
  • Develop profitability strategies in partnership with the Product Manager to increase revenue and identify opportunities.
  • Responsible for all cloud content during the proposal process. Including SOW, BOM, RFI, RFQ and RFP.

  • Exceed assigned revenue and pipeline quota objectives by successfully identifying and closing high-end revenue opportunities offered by our cloud portfolio.

  • Possess deep technical knowledge of the MNJ’s cloud tower portfolio.
  • Maintain credible knowledge of competing technologies and solutions related to cloud.
  • Engage with sales teams for account mapping and strategic planning sessions.
  • Conduct customer business reviews as appropriate.
  • Drive effective communication and collaboration within the organization.
  • Support marketing plans: including product launches, product modifications, and promotions to drive sales of cloud products.
  • Stay current on knowledge related to cloud existing and emerging technologies.
  • Represent the business at trade shows and conferences focused on cloud.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Achieve and maintain at least 2 current and active Cloud certifications.
  • At least 5 years of cloud delivery engagement experience.
  • At least 5 years of cloud industry product or cloud marketing experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Aware of infrastructure technology trends, and the current public cloud ecosystem.
  • Up to 25% of domestic travel as needed (customer locations, events, office).
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Persuasive communicator.
  • Comfortable with negotiation and decision making.
  • Must be proficient in problem discovery & solution selling.
  • Highly developed attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to manage time to maximize sales.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must exhibit emotional intelligence and empathy skills.
  • Strong business intelligence and data analytics skills.
  • Must understand the customer buying journey.

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000/year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for a performance-based merit increase annually. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
