Position Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, implement and direct the sales activities of the company to achieve sales objectives. Serve as a sales resource to the entire sales department.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenue.
  • Oversee designated sales representatives and align company objectives with each individual’s sales activities and performance goals.
  • Ensure sales team have the necessary resources to achieve required performance.
  • Monitor the sales activity by the sales team on a regular basis, including holding monthly meetings with each designated sales representative.
  • Serve as a mentor to the sales team by providing feedback, support and coaching. Evaluate performance of sales staff and address accordingly. Ensure the proper process is followed regarding any write ups, performance improvement plans, terminations, etc.
  • Ensure appropriate training is conducted for sales team. Work with appropriate partners to coordinate.
  • Drive sales for team to grow MNJ Revenue and Profit Year over Year. This includes all MNJ products as well as services and products offered under the services umbrella.
  • Meet with appropriate resources on an as needed basis to drive activity and sales.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT sales.
  • At least 2 years of management experience within a sales environment.
  • Must be willing to travel on an as needed basis.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Ability to multitask and handle various situations throughout each day.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to deal professionally with vendors, customers, employees, and the general public.
